Swedish Students design passive home powered by the sun
This is another
project of green architecture. Swedish students have design a private house
with small private rooms and a large entertainment area. The main idea of the
project is “to shift people away
from the growing trend of social isolation” and using local Scandinavian material such as woods. The
mainly part of the house is the roof structure that covered with monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic solar
cell on acrylic covered with a high strength
polymer. This roof can generate the power for using in the house.
After I have seen
this project, I was thinking that the researching on new construction technologies
and materials is also important for applying to our design project.
